Musikay is seeking a post-secondary music student with strong background in classical music.
This is an up to 16 weeks position beginning on May 7.
The student will gather and organize patron’s information and input in a database, organize the Ensemble’s current and archival documents, compile and organize operation manuals and resources. S/he will help inventory, organize, and catalog the music collection and input information in a database, research music availability, order, and prepare choral scores and orchestral parts for the upcoming season. S/he will perform other tasks as needed.
The candidate must have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, be passionate about quality work and attention to detail. S/he must be able to use logic in the preparation and the organization of information and documents. S/he must be able to manage information using databases, possess advanced skills in MS Office, Excel. Knowledge of music notation software Finale is required.
The position is subject to government funding.
