This weekend, we host our second series of workshops: the confident chorister: score preparation.

The three segments of this program aim to help anyone in a music ensemble learn to better prepare their music ahead of rehearsals, and how to more efficiently learn a new piece of music.

The methodical approach taught by maestro Potvin will benefit singers, instrumentalists, and even conductors.

The subjects discussed include:
Basic score analysis
Efficient markings
Step by step learning of a new piece
Best practices in developing learning skills
How and when to use learning aids (CDs, Midi files, etc.)
