Alleluya
To begin our 2016–2017 season, Musikay presents to you sacred music of the Renaissance.
Considered to be one of the highest human achievements of the era, music had a tremendous role in everyday life. With numerous cathedrals being built, composers were constantly writing new music to fill these wonderful spaces.
Featuring the most prolific composers of the time, their music will transport you to the era of Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Galileo, and Columbus and show you the beauty of the Renaissance.
