Ariel Harwood-Jones has sung with such organizations as Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Brass, Elora Festival Singers, Elmer Iseler Singers, Nexus, Toronto Consort, and Mississauga Choral Society. A few of Ariel’s appearances include Handel’s Messiah with the Mississauga Choral Society, Bach’s Magnificat with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Mozart’s Requiem with the Elora Festival Singers, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Sault Ste. Marie Orchestra, and Handel’s Dixit Dominus with Tafelmusik. She also appeared with the Pax Christi Chorale performing Bach’s Cantatas 80 and 147, with the Nota Bene Baroque Players in Bach’s Magnificat, and as the roles of First Woman and Queen of Sheba in Handel’s Solomon, first soprano soloist for Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, and performed the debut of Andrew Miller’s The Birth of Christ with Masterworks of Oakville. Ariel is also the soprano soloist at New St. James Presbyterian Church, a piano technician, currently on contract to Western University, and the house slave to three cats.
